Today there are more graduates and more competition for jobs, but there are things you can do to help your chances – you can engage with the careers events, look at starting up your own business, improve your academic skills, look at your own personal development, travel and study or work abroad or take advantage of work placement schemes all as part of your degree, engage with your Union for volunteering, job opportunities and training.
Engage in some (or all!) of the events on offer – all brought together under RoundOne, offered by a wide range of departments including Careers Advisory Service, Kent Innovation and Enterprise, Student Learning Advisory Services, Unit of Education, Learning and Teaching, Kent Union, International Office and European Office.
